Scotland has such a diverse and varied history it's easy to focus on the big Castles and overlook those hidden gems. The village of Meigle in Perthshire is one such gem! Within a small building next to the church and graveyard is the most important Pictish carved stone collection in the U.K. A collection of thirty stones from the 8th to 10th century give an insight into the life of the Picts 1,300 years ago!
