A cracking early visit to Stirling Castle avoids the crowds and makes for some great photos!
I am often asked why this Scottish Castle flies a 🇬🇧 and not a 🏴 flag. The reason is Stirling Castle, like Edinburgh Castle, is a military flag flying station as the fort is the headquarters of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, which whilst a Scottish regiment, are part of the British Army.
